GO App Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026. This privacy policy applies to the GO by UrbanCarriers mobile application ("GO app") published on Google Play by Speedloop Auto Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U72900TN2020PTC135204). By using the GO app, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy.

Section 1 — Information We Collect

Phone number — collected during sign-up and used as your account identifier. Required to use the app.
Full name — collected during onboarding. Required to use the app.
Profile photo — optional. Uploaded by you during onboarding.
Precise location — collected from drivers during active deliveries and shared with the assigned shipper for live tracking. Collected from shippers only if location permission is granted, for city detection.
Approximate location — used to detect your city (Bengaluru or Delhi) to improve address search results.
Booking history — all delivery bookings you create or complete are stored, including pickup/dropoff addresses, cargo details, pricing, and delivery status.
Contacts — accessed on your device only when you use the contact picker to fill in pickup or dropoff contact details. Contact data is not stored on our servers.
Proof of delivery photos — uploaded by drivers upon delivery completion. Stored in our secure cloud storage.

Section 2 — How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your account via OTP
To match shippers with available drivers
To enable live delivery tracking
To process payments via PayU (we do not store card or UPI details)
To display your booking history
To analyse delivery demand by area and improve our service
To resolve disputes and comply with applicable Indian laws

Section 3 — Information Sharing

Your phone number is shared with the driver assigned to your delivery (and vice versa) to enable contact during the delivery
Driver location is shared with the shipper in real time during an active delivery
Payment processing is handled by PayU — we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details
We do not sell your personal data to any third party
We may share data with law enforcement if required by law

Section 4 — Data Retention

Account data is retained until you request deletion
Completed booking records are retained for 90 days after delivery for legal and tax compliance, then permanently deleted
Driver earnings records are retained for 180 days as required by Indian financial regulations
Proof of delivery photos are retained for 90 days then deleted

Section 5 — Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by visiting:

Requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive SMS confirmation upon completion.

Section 6 — Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security. We do not store passwords — authentication is via one-time SMS OTP only.

Section 7 — Children

The GO app is intended for users aged 13 and above. The app is designed primarily for adults booking or completing commercial deliveries.

Section 8 — Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
