UrbanCarriers Vehicle Marketplace

Rent an electric cargo vehicle by the week.

Owners of CROC EV, the electric cargo vehicle built by Speedloop Auto, list them here. Delivery riders, shops and small fleets rent them for the weeks they need. The owner sets the rent and decides who rents.

Speedloop Auto does not rent or manage these vehicles. Owners set prices and deal with renters directly. Read the rules.

For renters

Riders, shops and small fleets: rent by the week.

Take on a new delivery contract, cover a busy season or try electric before you buy, without tying up money in a vehicle.

No vehicle to buy

Rent by the week for a season, a contract or a trial, and hand it back when the work ends.

Cheap to run

About ₹202 of electricity a week at 80 km a day, against ₹1,120 of petrol on a scooter.

CROC EV, from owners near you

Every vehicle is a CROC EV with a 380-litre lockable box. Search by city and area; rent, deposit and minimum period are shown up front.

For owners

A vehicle to spare? You set the terms.

Own a registered CROC EV? List it in a few minutes, choose who rents it, and keep every rupee of the rent you set.

You stay in charge

You set the weekly rent, deposit, minimum weeks and area, and you accept or decline every request.

Checked renters only

Renters confirm a licensed driver before they can ask. Your phone number is shared only when you say yes.

Free, and yours to pause

Listing is free, there is no commission, and you can pause or remove the vehicle at any time.

How it works

From listing to handover in five steps.

The marketplace introduces owners and renters and checks documents. The agreement, the vehicle and the money stay between the two of them.

  1. Owner lists

Their registered CROC EV, the area, weekly rent, deposit and minimum weeks.

  2. We check

The RC number and insurance date, within two working days, before the listing goes live.

  3. Renter asks

Start date, number of weeks, what they will carry, and a licensed driver.

  4. Owner decides

Accept or decline from a private link. Phone numbers are shared only on yes.

  5. They meet

Check the vehicle and licence, sign our free template agreement, and hand over. Rent goes to the owner.

Running cost

A week on electric costs a fraction of petrol.

Energy for 480 km a week (80 km a day, 6 days). Rent and deposit are set by each owner and shown on every listing.

Petrol scooter · fuel a week

₹1,120

Petrol at ₹105 a litre, 45 km a litre with a load.

CROC EV · electricity a week

₹202

Electricity at ₹10 a unit, 42 Wh a km. Charges on any 5 A plug.

Difference

₹918

less on energy every week. Same assumptions as our running-cost calculator.

Why it matters

The city runs on small loads, on vehicles never built for them.

Tiffins, gas cylinders, shop stock and parcels move a few kilos at a time. Many people need a proper cargo vehicle for a few weeks, not for five years.

Questions

What owners and renters ask first.

Who owns the vehicles on the marketplace?

Their owners: people and businesses who own a registered CROC EV they want to rent out. Speedloop Auto runs the marketplace and checks documents, but never rents, operates or manages a listed vehicle.

What does it cost to list or to rent?

Nothing. Listing is free, there is no booking fee and no commission. The renter pays the owner's weekly rent and deposit directly to the owner.

Can I list a vehicle from another brand?

No. The marketplace lists only registered Speedloop Auto vehicles (CROC EV), so every renter knows what they are getting and every vehicle is serviced by its maker.

What do I need to rent?

A driver with a licence valid for the vehicle, the start date and the number of weeks. The owner checks the licence at handover and may ask for a deposit.

How do owner and renter agree the terms?

The owner's listing shows the weekly rent, deposit and minimum period. We provide a free template rental agreement; Speedloop Auto is not a party to it, and both sides may take their own advice.

What if something goes wrong?

Write to the grievance officer named on the rules page. Every complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours.

Where is the marketplace open?

It opens in Pune first, starting with Hinjewadi, Wakad, Baner, Kharadi, Hadapsar and Pimpri-Chinchwad, then across Pune and in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
