UrbanCarriers Vehicle Marketplace rules

The marketplace connects owners of CROC EV, built by Speedloop Auto, with people who want to rent one. Speedloop Auto runs the listing pages and nothing else.

The rules

  1. Speedloop never rents listed vehicles

    Speedloop Auto and its group companies never rent, operate or manage a listed vehicle, never pay owners, never guarantee rent, bookings or earnings, and never offer to buy a vehicle back.

  2. Speedloop Auto vehicles only

    Only registered Speedloop Auto vehicles (CROC EV) can be listed, by their registered owners. We check the RC before a listing is shown. Owning one never obliges anyone to list it, and a listing never obliges Speedloop Auto to find a renter.

  3. The owner decides

    The owner sets the weekly rent, deposit, minimum period and area, accepts or declines every request, and can pause or remove the listing at any time.

  4. Money goes straight to the owner

    Renters pay owners directly. The marketplace does not collect, hold or pass on rent or deposits, and charges no commission.

  5. Documents checked before a listing goes live

    Owners declare that they are the registered owner and give the RC number and the insurance expiry date. We check them before a listing is shown.

  6. Licensed drivers only

    Renters confirm that every driver holds a licence valid for the vehicle. The owner checks the licence at handover.

  7. Contact details shared only after the owner accepts

    A renter's request reaches the owner without contact details. Phone numbers are exchanged only after the owner accepts.

  8. No earnings promises

    The marketplace shows only the rents owners set. It makes no forecasts of earnings, income or occupancy, and no listing may claim them.

  9. Vehicle sales stay separate

    Speedloop Auto does not sell vehicles on the marketplace and does not offer vehicles as a way to earn rent.

  10. The agreement is between owner and renter

    We provide an optional template rental agreement. Speedloop Auto is not a party to it. Both sides may take their own advice.

  11. No referral rewards or paid ranking

    Nobody is paid for bringing in owners or renters, and listings are not ranked by payment.

  12. A named grievance officer

    Complaints go to the grievance officer named on the rules page, who acknowledges them within 48 hours.

Optional: agreeing the rental

Owner and renter make their own agreement. Speedloop Auto is not a party to it. Take your own advice before you sign. These are the points worth agreeing and writing down:

  1. Rent. The weekly amount, the day it is paid, and how (UPI, bank transfer, cash with a receipt).
  2. Deposit. How much, what it covers, and when and how it is paid back at the end.
  3. Duration. Start date, number of weeks, and how much notice either side gives to end early.
  4. Handover condition. Photos of the vehicle at handover, odometer reading, battery charge, charger and accessories handed over.
  5. Insurance. Whose name the policy is in, what it covers, and what happens if a claim is needed.
  6. Licensed drivers. Who may drive. The owner checks each driver's licence before handover.
  7. Accidents and damage. Who pays for repairs, fines and challans, and how damage is reported.
  8. Return. When and where the vehicle is handed back, in what condition and with how much charge.
